Chili Mac's Diner: Delightful Breakfast & Brunch in Saint Louis

I love Diners. The food and feeing of yesteryear. This little gem was a great place to visit. The steak and eggs were done to order. I definitely would come back the food was good the service was good and the prices were good. If you enjoy diners don’t pass this one by. With 70’s music playing in the background it was the finishing touch to a great experience.

Hidden gem diner in downtown St Louis. Awesome atmosphere and excellent food. Omelette and biscuits and gravy were above average and prices were so good!

Fast, tasty, fun to watch them work. Only took a few minutes for food, I got the spuds-in for lunch. It was great. Best way to describe the cook and server is determined and sassy, with good old fashioned hospitality. Want to bring my family here.

Friday morning in June at 8:30am. We were looking for a place to get a good, quick breakfast on our way out of town. Happened upon this diner and it was SO GOOD!! The service was great-they were quick to take our orders and get our food out. It’s a very laid back atmosphere but the women working are busting it out to get everyone served in a timely manner. The food was very good-everything we ordered. Sausage special, half order of French toast, bacon special, half order of biscuits and gravy. If I find myself back in downtown St. Louis and in need of breakfast, I would go back to Chili Mac’s!! Highly recommend.

We LOVE Chili Mac’s Diner!!! It’s truly an experience to come and eat here. The food is delicious and is served up quickly. The vibe is nostalgic but most of all the sisters running the restaurant are the true magic of being there.

Not sure what I expected, but it exceeded my expectations! Delicious! The food was expertly prepared, the waitresses were good and with attitude. (The attitude is free!, lol) Great place for breakfast. I'll come back!

Old school, classic greasy spoon diner that welcomes you as you come through the door. I had to admire the nostalgia of the place as I gazed over the menu even though I knew what I wanted to order. I went with the traditional slinger, because what else do you order? My wife actually ordered French Toast, which came out looking amazing. Both of our plates were portioned well, tasted great & priced even better! This place did not disappoint & I will definitely visit again next time I am in St. Louis!

The ladies and gentlemen at this place are very nice, and accommodating. Food and service were a lot more than i expected. The chili is very flavorful, not overwhelming. The "Slanger" is tops in my book. I would give them 100 out of 10. My only complaint...they only stay open until 130 pm. My favorite STL location from here on out.
